Memorandum of understanding

FIRST CLAUSE

The present protocol of intentions has as the main objective to establish an academic and scientific cooperation between the Istitutions herey indicated as Participating.

SECOND CLAUSE

The cooperation will be realized by conducting common research and establishing educational programs on according to programs and projects, officialy approved for

Each case.

THIRD CLAUSE

Both Participating shall nominate a Coordinator inside the Istitution to organize the

Development of project and programs

FOURTH CLAUSE

The development of the programs and projects should be analyzed in detail by the Coordinator of both Participating, as mentioned in the previous clause, having in mind the mutual interests of both Participating

FIFTH CLAUSE

Both Participating shall endeavor to obtain from intermational and national agencies

The necessary support to carry out the present protocol of intentions as effectively and feasible.

SIXTH CLAUSE

The lectrers, students and researchers taking part in any program should observe the Agreements of the Participating,

SEVENTH CLAUSE

Both Participating agree, as it is feasible according to each particular circumstance, to make available their human and physical resources.

The travelling and accommodation expenses shall be discussed and agreed by means of clauses, additional to this statement of intentions.

EIGTH CLAUSE

The text of the present protocol can be modified at any time by mutual agreement between both Participating, it is valid for five years, and it shall be automatically

Renewed for equal periods of time.

Any modifications shall be the subject of a written communication by the interested part, observing a minimum six-month notice, without forfeiting any action in the coorditions of this agreement.

NINTH CLAUSE

Both Participating agree with the contests of this protocol of intentions and will abide by this agreement, so that all the necessary actions can be carried out in order to accomplish the purposes of this protocol of intentions.

TENTH CLAUSE

A detailed description of the scope of activites shall be defined in one or more plans of operations,, which will costitute an integrated part of this Memorandum of Understanding.

ELEVENTH CLAUSE

The present protocol of intentions becomes effective after the signing by both of the involved Participating.

The present document ixists in two originales, one kept at THE UNIVERSITA' DEGLI STUDI DI ANCONA ISTITUTO DI SCIENZE DEL MARE, ANCONA, ITALY and the second at SAM RATULANGI UNIVERSITY, MANADO, INDONESIA, naving both signatures been recognized officialy as having the necessary powers to formalize this agreement.
