THE UNIVERSITA' DEGLI STUDI DI ANCONA, DIPARTIMENTO DI ENERGETICA, represented by its Rettore pro-tempore Prof. Marco Pecetti, official representative authirized to sign this agreement,
and
DEPARTMENT OF BIOENERGY, SCHOOL OF ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES, MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY, MADURAI - 625 021, INDIA represented by Dr.K.Muthuchelian official representative authorised to sign this Agreement,
and
DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM, ASIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BANGKOK, THAILAND represented by Dr.S.Kumar official representative authorised to sign this Agreement,

In the interest of International collaboration in the field of Renewable Energy Sources such as biomass energy production, silvicultural nursery technology, solar thermal energy and photovoltaics, the above mentioned Institutions, hereby indicated se Participating Institutions, agree to cooperate in the areas of research, technology development, scientific meetings (seminar, conferences and workshops) and education.

The co-operation will be realised by conducting common research and establishing educational programmes on topics related to renewable energy sources for sustainable development,

The participating Institutions agree to ensure fulfilment of the above tasks in harmony with the scientific annex enclosed. Changes to the scientific annex can be agreed by the representatives of both the parties, as later defined, and attached to this agreement in form of supplement

The means for implementing the co-operation ere:
4.1
Exchange faculty and staff members and students concerned in this program to perform common experimental work and appropriate analyses of data or theoretical work
4.2
Exchange faculty concerned in this program to deliver lectures and seminar open to all students
4,3
Publish in scientific journals and present at national and international conferences/symposia and other meetings the results of the common research work.
Financial resources to be used for the implementation of this co-operation when needed will be determined on the basis of "ad-hoc" arrangements between the involved Participating Institutions.

The Participating Institutions will make all facilities available to the visitors from other Participating Institutions al the same conditions that ere applied to their affilities.

The visitors going to other country should properly insure themselves according to the law of accepting country

The scientific programme will be run by the scientific representatives of the Participating Institutions.
The signature of the scientific representative of each Participating institution will accompany the signature of its authorised official! Representative al the end of this document.

This agreement comes into force after the signature of the representatives of all participating Institutions.
Its duration is established in 2 (two) years.
It can be altered or terminated at any time at the request of one participating Institution in writing three months in advance
After the period of 2 (two) years the agreement iv extended automatically for another year unless a contrary advance notice iv delivered in written form by the one of the Participating Institution al least three months before expiring.
