Matriculating / Enrolling in Bachelor's degree courses

Academic Year 2023/ 2024- Engineering

Courses

For the academic year 2023-2024, the following Bachelor's degree courses are available (Ministerial Decree 270/2004):

Entry knowledge test

To matriculate in an free access Bachelor's degree, you must have a secondary-school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad that is recognized as suitable. In accordance with current legislation (Ministerial Decree 270/2004), you must have adequate initial preparation, and this is verified through a specific test prepared by the Faculty of Engineering.

The entry knowledge test is primarily intended to guide students in choosing the degree course and is not selective for the purposes of matriculation, which can be carried out regardless of taking the test or its outcome.

In the event of not taking the test or a negative outcome, additional learning requirements (OFA) are assigned, to be completed by 09.08.2024 in accordance with the procedures established by the Faculty of Engineering, under penalty of repeating the first year of the course.

However, the OFA will be considered to have been completed, even if the knowledge test has not been taken, if students have passed at least one of the examinations indicated in the core modules by 09.08.2024.

All information on the test, dates and how to sign up and cases of exemption can be found on the website of the Faculty of Engineering:  Bachelor degree Admission regulations

Students who are exempt from the test must attach the duly completed "OFA exemption form" to their matriculation application --> downloadable from " Forms

Enrolling for years subsequent to the first

  • From 1st August to 6th November 2023
  • After 7th November 2023, there is a late penalty fee of €25.00 within 60 days of the deadline and €50.00 60 days beyond the deadline.

Enrolment is carried out with the payment of the 1st instalment of the tuition fees, paid exclusively through the PagoPA system, by accessing the personal area on Esse3web. The 1st instalment is 156.00 Euro.

Non-EU students must give the Registrar’s office a copy of their renewed residence permit or a copy of the renewal application. Expired residence permits will block students’ careers.

Graduation after 6th November

Those who graduate during the December 2023 and February 2024 sessions do not need to renew their enrolment in the academic year 2023-2024 (such graduation sessions refer to the academic year 2022-23).

Students who do not obtain their degree during the abovementioned sessions will have the opportunity to enrol as ‘fuori corso’ (students enrolled for a number of years beyond the standard duration of their course) before 22nd December 2023 and 31st March 2024 respectively, provided that they have duly applied to graduate within the prescribed time limit. Submitting an application to graduate in the December or February session will exonerate you from paying the late penalty fee.

Part-time enrolment option

When renewing enrolment for subsequent years, those who need to extend the duration of the course to a number of years greater than the normal duration may apply part time.

This option is only available to 'in corso' (students enrolled for a number of years within the standard duration of their course) students.

Part-time enrolment results in a 50% reduction in the all inclusive fee and allows students to acquire 30 ECTS credits per academic year (not exceeding 60 ECTS credits in the two-year period).

For the regulations concerning this type of enrolment, please read art. 11 of Student Regulations carefully.

The part-time option must be chosen by 6.11.2023, emailing the “Part-time enrolment” form (downloadable from the Forms page) to segreteria.ingegneria@univpm.it with a copy of an identification document attached.
