Enrolment as a part-time student

If necessary, you can opt for part-time enrolment. This means extending the duration of the degree course (from 3 to 6 years) and a reduction in annual fees and contributions. To enrol as a part time student, please follow the same procedure as above, selecting the "Part-time Enrolment" option when completing your on line application.

Remember to enrol part-time by 6 November 2023, after this date you will have to pay a late registration fee of €25.00 within the first 60 days, and €50.00 from day 61.

Before choosing this type of enrolment, please read the" Part time guidelines" carefully.

Assignment of Student ID number

The student ID number is assigned by the Registrar’s Office after receiving the application and checking it for regularity. You will receive an automatic e-mail – to the e-mail address you indicated in the on line registration procedure – with your student ID number and instructions on how to access the personal area on the Esse3web platform.

Warning: Always check spam or junk mail as well.

Don't wait until the last few days to enrol! Otherwise, you may not be able to access the on line services of the University in good time, as the assignment of the student ID number is not immediate.

Personal area - Esse3web

From the moment you receive your student ID number, you can access your Personal Area and the Esse3web platform.

The Esse3web platform allows you to do several useful things:

  • update your personal info and contact details;
  • complete the forms necessary for calculating fees;
  • complete the study plan;
  • register for exams;
  • print the self-declarations regarding your university career, and more...

University Email

As soon as you receive your student ID number, you need to activate your University Email address, containing your student ID number.

How do I do that? It's simple, just follow the instructions here.

Remember that you can only communicate with the offices effectively through your University email and that the University will send any important notices and information to this email address.

Tip: If you don't think you'll be checking your University email often, synchronize it with your regular email address straight away!

Finally, please read Students’ regulations, which can be useful in many different moments of your university career.  (currently being updated)
