Objective

The curriculum of the doctoral program in HH includes, during the three years of the doctoral program, the education of the doctoral student in research activity and teaching activity. Education in research activity incorporates basic and specialized training, focusing on the implementation of the multidisciplinary and translational knowledge necessary to be able to integrate clinical-laboratory information with the latest knowledge derived from bio-molecular and bio-morphological research in the various disciplinary fields.

The definition of a structured didactic program ( specific classes for the Ph.D. program) allows the formulation of training paths consistent with the main objectives set by the Ph.D. course. In particular, the educational program, with a duration of three years, involves, alongside the training activities carried out at the doctoral seat under the supervision of one's tutor and possible co-tutors, a common teaching activity for all doctoral students, articulated in two types of initiatives: 1) a set of Fundamental Courses (common to all participants in the school) articulated in several classes (not less than 8 hours for each course); 2) specialized seminars (duration not less than 1 hour). The Fundamental Courses and/or Specialized Seminars will be held by University professors or experts from the various fields on content and in-depth studies inherent to the topics covered by the doctoral course.
