Agreements with private and public transportation system

An agreement was signed between Università Politecnica delle Marche and ATMA ScpA (transport company of Ancona and surroundings) to ease the expenditures that each student has to bear for public transportation.

The annual ticket is issued to enrolled students that requesti it, upon presenting a valid document that certifies the status of students (doctorates, masters and training courses students are not included).

Students have the possibility to choose between these two types of ticket:

option a):
the annual ticket is valid for 9 (nine) months from 1 October 2016 until 30 June 2017.

Each annual ticket costs €180,00 (VAT included) and it is distributed as such:

• student's charge € 130,00 (VAT included)
• university's charge €50,00 (VAT included)

option b):

the annual ticket is valid for 12 (twelve) months from 1 October 2016 until 30 September 2017.

Each annual ticket costs €200,00 (VAT included) and it is distributed as such:

• student's charge €150,00 (VAT included)
• university's charge €50,00 (VAT included)

 The payment of the student charge is to be done at the moment of the ticket issue; moreover, each student has to give its Italian fiscal code.

The request has to be handed directly at ATMA through the following forms:

option a) - 9 months

option b) - 12 months

Confartigianato Taxi of the province of Ancona and CNA Fita of the province of Ancona signed a memorandum of agreement for a taxi service for students at discounted rates, that will be valid all week, including holidays, h24 according to these specifications:

• From Central Station to Polo Montedago up to 2 passengers €8, up to 4 passengers €10
  From Central station to the faculty of Economics up to 2 passengers €8, up to 4 passengers €10
  From Central station to the faculty of Medicine in Torrette: up to 2 passengers €8, up to 4 passengers €10
  From Varano station to Polo Montedago: up to 2 passengers €8, up to 4 passengers €10
  
  At Varano station, the taxi will stand from 7.30 am until 9.00 am and the driver can be contacted at the following number 331-8725907;
  
  For the service "Central station - University campuses", the numbers to call are the following: train station are 071-43321 (active h24); downtown area 071.202895.
  
  
• 10% discount rate on the standard tariff for each transfer, allowing students to reach the station or university areas. The discount rate will be applied under the existing tariffs in force at that time, including both holidays and night time.

For using the service, the student has to show one of those valid documents: record booklet, university card along with a valid document, ERSU badge, university library card, bus annual ticket for students.
