Sensus access – automatic conversion service for documents to a multimedia, alternative and accessible format

 

Sensus access is a self service device that gives the possibility to convert web pages and documents that are inaccessible or hard to read into multimedia, alterernative and accessible formats.

The use of this platform is reserved to institutional users of Università Politecnica delle Marche and its sole educational, scholar, personal and non commercial purpose.

 

What are the conversion formats of this service?

 

The service converts files in the following formats:

DOC, DOCX, PDF, PPT, PPTX, TXT, XML, HTML, HTM, RTF, EPUB, MOBI, ASC, TIF, TIFF, GIF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, DCX, J2K, JP2, JPX, DJV, PCX

 

The conversion is in the following formats:

DOC, DOCX, PDF, RTF, TXT, E-BOOK, HTM, XLS, XLSX, CSV, MP3, BRAILLE

Is it possible to save a copy of the sensus access converted documents?

The converted document in accessible format can be used only for private use.

If another user needs the same document, a new request is needed from the online form of on sensus access.

The use of the service is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. This service is provided for educational and non-commercial use only.
  2. Responsibility for any copyright infringement lies with the end user who is authorized to use the converted file in an accessible format only and exclusively for personal use.
  3. Neither the Università Politecnica delle Marchw nor SensusApS/Cenfor International will be held responsible for any information disclosed and/or used improperly.
  4. The end user is responsible for the safekeeping of the material made available which must be used without infringing the intellectual property rights of the relative authors.
  5. You are advised not to use this service for sending and exchanging confidential or private information.
