European Doctorate and Co-Tutelle

In order to promote and facilitate the international cooperation of the PhD Programs, the Univpm has approved the award of the additional label of “Doctor Europaeus”. The University may issue the certification of “Doctor Europaeus” upon proposal of the Faculty Board and if the following conditions are fulfilled:

• the PhD student spent a stay of at least 3 months research period in one EU-country;
• the thesis must have been positively rated by two professors from two different EU-universities, appointed by the Faculty Board;
• at least one member of the Examination Committee comes from a non-Italian University;
• the doctoral thesis has been defended in any other language than Italian.
