APPLICATION FOR FINAL EXAM
 

1) ESSE3WEB

  • Send from their reserved area the application for admission to the final exam clicking on “Application for graduation” – “Graduation” and selecting “Final exam appeal” (visit also https://www.univpm.it/Entra/Ricerca/Dottorato_di_Ricerca_/Manuali ). The application for admission is comprehensive of the payment of € 32,00 (€ 16,00 for virtual stamp duty on the application and € 16,00 for virtual stamp duty on the certificate)
  • Insert the report about activities performed during the three-years course and any pubblication
  • Insert the thesis’ sharing declaration with the tutor

2) PRODAPPS

Register the doctoral thesis at the link https://prodapps.econ.univpm.it/tesi/index.php, so it can be sent to the REVIEWERS.

PhD students who enjoy a scholarship co-funded by Eureka project have to send via e-mail at the address dottorato@sm.univpm.it within the deadline specified in the list, the report about the activities performed in the last year of the course, undersigned by the PhD student, by the University tutor and by the Company tutor.

After the thesis’ presentation the chosed reviewers will express a written analytical judgment, and it will be sent to the PhD student and to the Faculty meeting.

Following the said judgment the thesis can:

  • Be admitted to public discussion
  • Be admitted to public discussion, prior contribution of minimum revisions that have to be produced within 30 days
  • Not be admitted to public discussion, in case significant additions or corrections are needed, and they have to be done within 6 months

In case one of the reviewers or both of them suggested minimum revisions, the PhD student has to make a deal with their tutor and/or with the coordinator of the PhD course. The modified thesis doesn’t need to be sent to the reviewers again.

 
 
 
FINAL OBLIGATIONS
 
The PhD students who have recieved a positive judgment or those who have to make minimum revisions and have been proposed for admission to the public discussion have to, within the deadline specified in the list, in order to have the final exam:

Access to your reserved area and click on “Application for graduation” – “Graduation” – “Edit request”, then reopen the application and attach the judgments, the frontespiece and the declaration on the legal deposit of the thesis.

Furthermore, click on “Application for graduation” – “Graduation” – “thesis submission”  to upload:

  • the final thesis (with title page) in a PDF/A format;
  • the frontespiece signed by the tutor or coordinator and by PhD student in a PDF/A format;
 
 

4) BADGE

5) PRODAPPS

Deposit the final thesis and the files with the judgments of the reviewers at the following link: https://prodapps.econ.univpm.it/tesi.definitive/ so they’re visible from the judging Commission at the final exam.

 
 

6) IRIS

Deposit the final thesis in PDF/A format using the procedure at the following link: https://iris.univpm.it/ and two short abstract, in order to guarantee conservation and public consultation, as well as the fulfillment of the legal deposit at the national Libraries of Rome and Florence, as specified in the 16th article of the PhD regulation.

The file of the thesis has to be in a PDF/A format, as required by the National Libraries of Rome and Florence. At the following link you can find a tutorial for making PDF/A files and for uploading your thesis on IRIS: http://www.univpm.it/Entra/Manuali

The two abstracts of the doctoral thesis, that need to be uploaded at the following link https://iris.univpm.it/ have to be one in italian, and the other in a foreign language (possibly english), maximum recommended lenght of 2.000 characters, including spaces.

 

Candidates whose thesis hasn’t been admitted to public discussion, because the reviewers proposed postponement for a period not longer than six months considering necessary significant integrations or corrections, will have to deposit the thesis within the deadline specified in the list, so that the Administration can send it to the reviewers and have a new judgment. After this period of time the thesis will be admitted to the public discussion in any case.
