5. Preliminary test - OFA debt

According to Italian current legislation, students must demonstrate they have an adequate initial preparation, which is verified by means of a specific test. It is not selective, but in the event that the student does not take the test or the result of the test is not positive, the student is assigned additional educational obligations (OFA) to be fulfilled by the deadline set in the Academic Regulations of the Study Programs. For the bachelor’s degree in Digital Economics and Business, the OFA test assesses the knowledge in mathematics and logic.

The OFA test takes place online in the months of February, July, and September before the start of the first year, and in November and January of the first semester. Please consult DEB web pages to register and attend the preliminary test : https://www.econ.univpm.it/deb-ofa

Please, note that, until the educational debt is recovered, students are not able to take the exam of Mathematics and Principles of Economics.

Students are exempt from the OFA test if:

  • They took the TOLC-E test administered by CISIA and answered correctly to at least 40% of the questions in the Mathematics and Logic modules, with at least one correct answer in each module.
