“Investigation of component-based TPA approach for engine noise in vehicles”.
The candidate will focus on component-based TPA approaches to predict full-vehicle noise and vibration performance from invariant load measurements on a test bench combined with vehicle-transfer functions.
Candidates should have a master level degree or equivalent in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Mechatronics, Computer Science), Physics or similar. Experience in the RESEARCH scope of ECO-DRIVE is a vital asset: in particular, the candidates should have a keen interest or some experience in automotive applications, structural dynamics and acoustics. They should also have experience with programming languages/environments such as Python, Matlab or similar; experience with algorithm development and hardware/simulation environment Matlab/Simulink or similar; knowledge of Finite Element Modelling simulation environments.
Proficiency in English is essential, as it is the working language of the ECO-DRIVE network.
